Introductory Course – From the Loose Bundle to the Bouquet

Although making an exquisite bouquet requires dexterity and a certain amount of experience, the basic techniques of professional flower arranging for simple, yet elegant creations can be acquired quite quickly.

During this introductory course, you will learn how to arrange a classical bouquet, the fundamental form from which many various types of bouquets are derived.

The small size of the groups (maximum of 8-10 people) ensures that your work will receive plenty of personal attention during the course. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to learn numerous shortcuts and tricks of the trade from a professional as well as to ask questions about things that have always puzzled you.

In addition to the classical form, we will produce a small flat bouquet known as the “Flower in a Nest”. Naturally both of the bouquets are yours to keep and take home with you as tangible evidence of the skills you have learned.

This introductory course is an ideal opportunity to make your first acquaintance with the world of floristry. If you discover more than just a passing fancy to learn about floral arrangements, advanced courses offered by the Blumenschule will help you to refine and develop further the skills you have learned here.

The course lasts three hours and costs €65.00; the price covers all of the materials, plus coffee, tea and soft drinks. A pair of rose clippers and a kitchen knife, along with enthusiasm and interest, are all you need to bring with you.

Since, as mentioned above, the number of participants in each course is restricted, it will be necessary for you to submit a binding registration for the course that interests you. Please fill out, sign and return the enclosed registration from to me.

I look forward to seeing you in one of my courses.
